2025        Vol. 2: Beyond the Words

Design is often about finding the simplest way to say something complex.

While my first volume focused on the tension of thrillers, this collection Volume 2 is all about the 'Big Idea.' These projects range from corporate strategy and social commentary to the far reaches of sci-fi.

I’ve always believed that a book cover should feel like a doorway. Whether it’s the minimalist pulse of Pure Voice or the layered silhouettes in City in the Marrow, my goal here was to create a visual shorthand for the deep thinking inside the pages.

The New Embers: "I wanted the torch of Liberty to feel like a woodcut print raw, energetic, and slightly weathered to match the 'divided age' theme."
The Authority Blueprint: "This was all about bold, 'hand-drawn' confidence. The speech bubble isn't just a shape; it's a statement of taking up space in a crowded market."
Stardust Theory: "I used a massive scale shift here. One tiny person against the infinite to make the viewer feel the weight of the universe."
Pure Voice: "Sound turned into a landscape. I kept this strictly black and white to emphasize the 'purity' of the message."
City in the Marrow: "A double exposure is a classic technique, but I wanted the city to look like it was literally growing inside her. It’s a story about identity."

Thanks for taking a look at the cleaner, more conceptual side of my 2025 work.

I’m currently taking on new book cover projects for 2026. If you have a story that needs a face, or just want to talk about design, feel free to reach out.
